I’m as cute as I can be.
My chunky cheeks are an added bonus.
I’ve been told that my baby blues are endearing, even when I cry.
My serious look is very strong…I’ve practiced it..a lot. The arched eyebrow..my trademark.
I’m easy-going. And yes, those eyelashes are mine..all natural.
I love to laugh…
..and talk about things…
..I’m a true Patriot and love big trucks……I can kick up my heels and get a little crazy…
…but I reeeeeealy love to look at my mom.
This pose here…well..it stole my photographer’s heart.
I loved this bowl..big-boy bowl.
That’s the end of the show..until next time. I’m off to grow a bit more.
Thanks for being sweet, adorable, and tough..this modeling job ain’t easy.
Always love the time I spend with you and your mom. You kinda outdid yourself this time..I’m already looking forward to seeing you again..soon!
“You notice everything I do and everywhere I go. Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say, and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side. I can’t understand all of this! Such wonderful knowledge is far above me.” Psalms 138:3-6
This cutie is on the move.
And he’s growing strong and taller.
Teddy’s been with us at every session so far.
These blocks were used at his mom’s baby shower..so neat that they wanted to include them at a session.
www.coffeshopblog designed this template for me.
It’s created to be printed as a panoramic print as well.
Mr. Drake is adorable~
poor little guy…still adorable.
and those eyes~
sweet fingers and that grin
This little guy is so funny and loving.
He is surrounded by lots and lots of love from his family.
I always enjoy my time with yall and look forward to next time~
“Our Lord and Ruler, your name is wonderful everywhere on earth! You let your glory be seen in the heavens above. With praises from children and from tiny infants, you have built a fortress.” Psalms 8:1, 2
Pick a beautiful day..a special place, and celebrate your mom.
She was a country girl before it was cool.
Open fields, country roads, trees and flowers..her favorite places.
Her tastes are simple..she loves to garden..can grown anything, even plants that I thought I had killed, came back to life once I placed them in her care. Old quilts, thrift stores, trips to Cheekwood to see all their flowers..these are some of her favorite things.
Being outside is like breathing to her. She still hangs her sheets and clothes out to dry, and keeps her windows open as long into early Summer as she can.
As she gets older, as I get older, as my kids get older, I too, try to stop time..just slow it down. It’s impossible.
This is the only thing I can do…capture the here and now..so I can enjoy it later..and remember. Make memories.
We had to end on an artistic shot.
I love that she was there at the birth of my 2 girls..that she was there to watch them grow up and Lord willing, will be there when they both get married. If we are extra blessed, she’ll be around to see her great-grandbabies.
Just so you all know..she and I laughed so much between many of these shots. Me asking her if she can walk over there..no..that way..stop, move over a little more..can you get on the ground?, now stand up, turn to the right, now left..move your hand, no the other hand..haha..she had a slight dizzy spell..it wasn’t meant to be funny, but I laughed..for a while.
No one was hurt at this photo shoot. Only beautiful pictures and wonderful memories were made.
“I am your chosen one. You won’t leave me in the grave or let my body decay. You have shown me the path to life, and you make me glad by being near to me. I will always be joyful.” Pslam 16:10, 11
Hello precious Hallie.
Those cute bloomers and that sweet look.
She had a bit of a struggle coming into this world..but at 3 months she’s a strong and happy little girl.
Yes..she’s a happy baby.
Her serious look~
She has a lot of love surrounding her.
Her family and extended family are so excited about Hallie..she is very blessed.
Such a pretty momma and big sis.. handsome daddy..love this.
What a beautiful gift you are, Hallie. I loved meeting you and catching up with your family.
Thanks for a sweet morning~
“Pay attention to your father, and don’t neglect your mother when she grows old. Invest in truth and wisdom, discipline and good sense, and don’t part with them. Make your father truly happy by living right and showing sound judgement. Make your parents proud, especially your mother.” Proverbs 23:22-25
He is simply gorgeous.
Mom is beautiful and doing well.
Such a snuggle-bug.
He was equally awake and asleep during our session. Love those big eyes.
We wrapped him, dressed him, undressed him..took him from one prop to the next. He was a trouper.
No matter what color we put him in..he looked good.
those long fingers
Mom brought him in this rocking outfit.
Mom loves to laugh..it’s a beautiful thing.
He is just so cute!
Sweet baby boy..love~~
So Michael Jackson.
Just looking around.
He was such a good baby..we were able to do a lot of outfit changes and prop set ups. He looked adorable in every one.
We also enjoyed catching up and hanging out with mom.
It was a wonderful morning, thanks for sharing your sweet boy..yall are such a blessing.
“I ask only one thing, Lord: Let me live in your house every day of my life to see how wonderful you are and to pray in your temple.” Psalms 27:4
Cute guys for sure.
They will not be little for very long.
Skinned knees, fascination with water and anything in it, feeding the chickens, exploring the trails, they even picked out places for me to take their picture. I loved this spot.
This was their favorite place.
The oldest..funny guy, he actually liked to pose for me. Big eyes..sweet smile.
Middle brother, he had his “picture smile” down pat. Loosing teeth, and new ones growing in..we also think he favors George W Bush. Notice the rock in his hand..haha.
Bringing up the rear, Mr. Personality..the baby with lots and lots to say. Most of the pictures I took of him were between the many words he was saying. I remember most of the stories he was telling me pertained to superheros. Adorable.
Her kindness can not be measured. She is a fit and very strong momma..and don’t let that pretty face fool you..she is very very smart.
Their happy place~
Truly, I am so proud of these guys..they were patient and loved picking out places to stop..I just had to be quick..I love this one.
And, I love this, too..he was trying not to laugh..big handsome smile.
He has the best chuckle..love this.
They certainly picked this spot..haha. guys.
He was hiding…Mamma was looking for him…
She found him..he laughed so hard..it was precious.
It was a wonderful late Spring afternoon..in one of my favorite places..with an entertaining and very loved little family.
Thanks for being so handsome and so beautiful~~
“Lord God All-Powerful, my King and my God, sparrows find a home near your alters; swallows build nests there to raise their young. You bless everyone who lives in your house, and they sing your praises. You bless all who depend on you for their strength and all who deeply desire to visit your temple. When they reach Dry Valley, springs start flowing, and the autumn rain fills it with pools of water. Your people grow stronger and you, the God of gods, will be seen in Zion.” Psalms 84:3-7
Head full of thick dark hair, beautiful skin, sweet little nose and rose-bud lips, she is precious.
Big Sissy loves her.
As good as she looked in pinks and creams, she looks wonderful in purples, too.
Sweet little bunny~~
She spent some time looking around, but was mostly very drowsy.
Precious..let me tell you, she was so sweet.
beautiful little girl
It’s so interesting that when you have a Newborn, you realize how big your toddler is, haha. Sister love~
Such a sweet and good-looking couple.
that hair, those cheeks, so sweet
Little Emily, we are so glad you are here.
So much love for you, already, such a blessed baby girl.
Thanks for letting us cuddle her and catch up with yall.
Jordon enjoyed her play time with Sofia, too.
hugs and love~
“You are the one who put me together inside my mother’s body, and I praise you because of the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous! Of this I have no doubt.” Psalms 139:13, 14
Brenna is naturally very pretty, and has a sweet and kind heart that boosts her beauty even further.
Hard working, finishing up her Master’s, keeps fit, happily married, and made time for me to work on a few ideas and techniques.
I like the challenge of lighting a brunette on a black background.
I want to see the movement of her hair, but not blow her skin out.
She has a beautiful smile..just lights everything up.
I’ve been wanting to use this couch..love it.
I have a very large light that I usually use for newborns, but I wanted to see what it would look like for light, airy portraits.
I set it up behind me, then moved it around.
Plenty of light..nice different look.
Tried out different backdrops, too.
I love this
We made sure to take a nice variety of head-shots.
The backdrop is a beautiful Goldenrod Yellow lace fabric piece. I love the texture and the color with her dress and jewelry. Love this..her eyes..wow
Then we let our creativity just flow~~I loved the dresses, her smile, her curves and graceful movements, her cheekbones, haha..long arms, and how everything turned out. I learned a few things and just really had a great time talking.
You are Beautiful, Brenna..and are such a blessing with your kind and gentle spirit. Thanks for everything!!
“I praise you, Lord for being my guide. Even in the darkest night, your teachings fill my mind. I will always look to you, as you stand beside me and protect me from fear. With all my heart, I will celebrate, and I can safely rest.” Psalms 16:7-9
Hank and Jack.
As a mom, you think you can never love another child as much as your first, but you do..and no matter how many children you have, you love them all..powerfully, deeply, forever, equally but uniquely, it’s the most amazing love.
As a photographer, I feel the same way about these kids..I promise that I have enough love to love them all, haha!! I breathe them in, hold them, tickle them, fall in love..seeing how special and unique all of them are.
Then I spend my editing time falling deeper in love with them..each minute staring at those sweet faces, crooked grins, long eyelashes, boogers in the nose and sweet drool. Catching up with mom and dad..or getting to know new moms..it’s just the best job.
This is a terrific picture..my daughter, Jordon suggested posing them this way..love love love.
This is Hank. 3 months cute, deep blue eyes..loves to look at mommy.
terrific and very expressive eyebrows
He loved cooing and talking to me…love~
He sure looks good in blue..any shade.
long eyelashes..sweet lips
He was such a sweet and very patient little guy. What a trouper.
haha..I can’t remember what we did to make him look like this..maybe my flash, lol..so serious.
Love his smile.
well..we tried..mom was just off camera to my right..Jordon was on my left.
It’s amazing..all the work that goes into getting sibling shots..haha..so worth it though. They were both like..”what?” love~
Such a strong guy..3 months old and he was scooting around with his head up.
Just get lost in his eyes..so so precious.
love you Hank~~
I can’t believe Jack is 2 years old. I met him when he was 3 months..at our first session together. Every 3 months..I’ve seen him grow and have truly enjoyed our little visits with him and his family. He has the best smile!
We managed to get outside..it sure was bright and a little chilly, but he did great.
He really is a very happy kid..a people person.
He picked out the chair..motivation to sit and smile, lol!
He picked this chair out, too, but it was behind my flash. I thought he was so cute sitting there, so I fired off a few shots and loved his silhouette. I removed the background and used a few textures to create a new background.
Time stand still~~
Curious George was showing.
That is an awesome t-shirt.
I love how mom and dad dress them.
I think we all worked hard, but I love every shot we got.
Jack and Hank, mom and Grandpa were the highlight of my day, loved meeting Hank for the first time..and catching up.
Thanks for everything and for having really handsome and sweet little guys.
“You know the Lord is God! He created us, and we belong to him; we are his people, the sheep in his pasture. Be thankful and praise the Lord as you enter his temple. The Lord is good! His love and faithfulness will last forever.” Psalms 100:3-5
Griffin..you are adorable!
He says, “I know.”
He has beautiful soft brown eyes and that clef in his chin~~
squishing toes on the fur..everyone loves this soft fur
Griffin, you are a cutie-pa-tootie.
Your serious look is precious and when you smile, I want to pick you up and squeeze you and kiss your cheeks!
Thanks for a great morning..Griffin, you are your mom are so nice and I had a fun time playing and chatting. I hear you’ve cut a few teeth since I saw you…you better stop growing up!! lol~
